We were missing this kind of thread, and I've been occasionally finding stuff that for one reason or another tickles me.
LaDS' fic norms are a bit different from what I'm used to in other fandoms, but that might just be the fact that I don't often read fics in the otome world.
Still, here are some of my findings.

i was/am considering making an art/fic subforum just to keep that stuff separated out from the slightly more random chatter, but since i am not sure how much writing i am personally going to do (might be some, might be lot, might be just the noodles of today) i thought it might be overkill and just dumped stuff into the boy's personal folders while i thought about it.

what say you?

I thought about the same, whether it was more organized if there was a fancontent thread in each LI's subsection, but then how would we separate fics that have more than one pair? Or where the LIs are paired with each other? So in the end I put it in the general thread list.
I'm not against having a proper subforum for it, but I also totally expect us to keep on putting fancontent even in the general subforum. Even before you started writing for them we also had fanvideos and a rudimentary playlist. That should go in the fancontent subforum too?
I haven't made fancontent for lads yet but at this point I'm just waiting for the proper muse to hit.

Having a section where we can dump the stuff is useful, I only fear separating what is fancontent from what's not might be difficult for some things (for example narratively charged glint photos, or headcanons sparked by discussions of the main story). But then again, even if we fuck up and get some fancontent spilling in the main forum it's nit a tragedy and might be better than having it spread everywhere with the risk of losing it.

taking a break from the main chapters for a bit, letting the revelations settle and read Borrowed Time (Modern Uni AU, Caleb x NonMC (Ongoing)). really enjoyed it! i've been kitty-corner adjacent to the awkward third wheel, trying to figure out what, if anything, was gonna drop my way so it has a definite personal edge with me. very nicely written!

Borrowed Time was the unintentional guilty pleasure read because it's almost nostalgic in the tropes it uses and how much they were my bread and butter when I was in high school/uni.
Non-mc as a tag is a treasure trove of unrequited love angst.

Here to recommend this absolute gem here that completely kept me awake one night to read it and I regret nothing I still think about it almost daily. It's a Raf/you fic set in/inspired by the witch of the abyss timeline, and it took me places. So many places.

Archive of Our Own is SUCH a delight. the unhinged tags are, like, worth the entry price of "free!" just by themselves.

I have always enjoyed the now-archive-wide tag of "no beta we die like [person that died horrifically in canon]" as well as "[insert terrible parental figure here] is his own warning".

it is 9:10am in the morning on a work Friday but i have completed all the work that was waiting for me, so I'm going to queue up the fic you recommended and see what awaits and whether I have to hide my screen if anybody walks by.

okay, i am a dozen paragraphs into Still WakesThe Drowned God and this is amazing so far. lovely visuals but at 97k its gonna take me all day to read which is NOT a complaint.

EDIT: i am just... /checks... under halfway through this thing and went back to check the tags and ... damn it. "canon compliant ending". that so sucks, but fine. i was really hoping to see "HEA" but apparently i will be disappointed. this is excellent writing.
