One thing I have completely failed to mention that kind of suckered me in right at the start... the damned theme song.

my GOD is it so good. I sat on the login screen the first time for about twenty minutes just listening to the thing loop while it downloaded and patched, and it is just so beautiful.

i did the same thing when Rafayel's theme was introduced, both when we met him and then again when it played during his art showing (that he didn't bother to show up for).  that second encounter clinched it - it was a little harder to track down but i did it and i wish it melody was longer but i'll take what i can get.

i have both these tunes on my current playlist.

asdkhkasjdsdf that damn theme song I've been obsessed for an entire month and it won't leave me in peace (I will reloop from 0:46 to 1:42 at least 3 times a day to keep my sanity)
At first I was vibing and trying to get the mood of the game from it and I was like "Oh okay it might be a bit angsty then"
Then I came back to it after learning all the background lore and straight up teared up listening to it

Also it's criminal that no one's done a 1 hour loop of Song Of Lost yet.
But there are so many other good songs too, they really did an amazing job

i am so sucked into this game. i feel like i should be vaguely embarrassed but i'm too pleased with myself to worry about it. i just downloaded a plugin for my phone that lets me rotate wallpapers on my main screen and filed it with screenshots, so now when i open my phone, i have something new and high fidelity to look at.

this is the greatest. nothing like fan incoherency to inspire a gal to rearrange the boring furniture.

Do not feel embarrassed at all! Little compares to that feeling when you get fully sucked in into a new fandom. And it's not something you can predict or even cause deliberately, so it's even more magical when your brain decide to fixate on something. And when that something is also full of question marks and theories on top of very pretty to look at, it gets even more engaging.

By the way, there are more main theme songs that are very relevant to the world building and the LIs, but unless you've already seen them, I'd wait for you to finish the main story before sharing them, because they all came out once the fandom at that time had finished Under Deepspace and had at least watched the two myths for each LI.

well, the lyrics could definitely be (re)interpreted to match up to Submerged Eclipse.

burn with passion, nets, moonlight, a coral prison. then dawn, the scent of roses and blood on the ocean.

i determined a thousand years ago that "fish" was a bad translation for "mermaid" :D mostly for the visual, as i kept trying to picture a salmon or something.
