- what the hell is with the coffin move in combat? somebody trampled the rest of the design crew with that idea that they couldn't let go of
- the three doors coming down in combat reminds me instantly of the Diabolos fight in FFXIV where, yes, you have to kill the three doors before they open or you get overwhelmed by adds and then The Big Door comes down and Diabolos channels through it.
- the silver wings he has are Beautiful. like, so gorgeous, no notes, wrap me up beloved.
- i am guessing its a symbolic marriage we enacted to bring him forth? we are wifey! also, church aesthetic with roses is doing it for me.

very pleased. i'm 60% vampire/40% werewolf split and at least this time it looks like we both fade out peacefully which is all we can hope for at this point.

In Chinese he's something along the lines of Demon Lord? So not explicitly vampire, but Sylus has always been insanely vampire-coded. Red eyes, pale skin, hates the sun, awake at night, loves to bite, preys on sin/desire, eats people (souls). It was only a matter of time before they made him a proper coffin dweller.
I am extremely tickled by the battle animation where he just pulls out a coffin out of nowhere and peaces out.
He also calls us countess? And we're also immortal? We seem to be fighting at the start when we summon him, which is very SylusMC of them and I'm pleased.
Bat wings for the win, I love everything about his aesthetic.

(I've always been very 50/50 with the vampire vs werewolf debate. Vampires for the vibes, werewolves for the sex, I said what I said)

People were trying to get patterns out of this third round of myths, and as of now we seem to have:

I'm playing the event right now. They are pretending to be a newlywed couple, I was wondering about that "my wife" in the trailer that got so many people's panties in a twist. Also he talks about pairing different teas with his past summoners to enhance their ordinary taste (the summoners') and I just love it here already lol
I remember writing on tumblr that I loved how SylusMC echoed their "we want to eat each other" fate into "we want to eat each other out" in the present, and I'm still so right.

there is a real 'devouring' theme when it comes to Sylus. i am working my way through the Cloudfall myth and yeah, so much innuendo and outright statement about who's gonna be eating who, and when. the girlfriend is so, so terrible at both plan making and plan followthrough that i feel secondhand embarrassment for her.

so it sounds like (based on the free event pieces that i played this morning while inhaling my coffee) that she's summoned him forth to help her with something to do with whatever a Sacredcore is and he's just playing along for the moment.

when he mentioned tea, i had a visceral urge to... go make tea, only i didn't have time. but for a hot second there, i was overcome with the craving for it.

If you think I resisted pulling you're very wrong. I got the 30 free tickets, bought the packs 1-2-3, added 20 of my own tickets (because Xav photobombed my 50/50 and Sy got me all the way to hard pity) but I have now the myth. I'll think about whether I actually want the companion or not, considering I only got his dragon myth like last month and I don't even have his cards properly upgraded. I'll buy MC's outfit though, that hairstyle is calling for some CalebMC pictures.
Now, onto the myth!

Chapter 1
- Unsurprisingly, we're on the brink of an apocalypse. Perfect time for MC to find a husband.
- "What I want is Sylus" louder MC speak your truth!
- So mages use fiends like pokemons. And MC is already immortal, which is unusual because the other mage calls her a monster when he finds out. "You're already immortal, why would you rewrite your fate?" That's a very good question, mage. OOOOh so MC finds her immortality torturous because she's constantly on death's door without being able to actually cross the threshold, and she's desperately looking for a way to peace out.
- This entire myth will have me listening to Join Me in Death by HIM in one ear. I need to properly immerse myself in the vibes.
- Is MC's curse that made her immortal related to Sylus? So this myth is not their origin story. But are we before his past myth, after it, or in another alternative branch?
- "For an immortal, time and memory are destined to fade." This is a very important sentence I feel, and it relates to all other LIs too.
- "Depraved, he descended into seven shadows" Seven seven seven. I'm not a Sy main so I don't know his lore by memory, but wasn't there something about seven gods in one of his cards... [EDIT: I'm here after looking it up and YES it's from Lost Oasis, "That place is known as the Valley of Lost Souls. The local myths say their seven gods are buried there. He said that once I’m dead, I can be buried with them."]
- sdkjfhlsadkjskj he's ridiculously hot. I don't even know what to say.
- And SHE forms the linkage to bind him to her.
- I'm sorry, him immediately trying to kill her off by yeeting her off against a tower will never stop being funny.
- Yes MC!!! Oh my, how I love these two.
- ...Do you need a room? Should I go?
- Unrelated, but those curly strands of hair on Sylus: a masterpiece.
- "You can command me but I decide if I obey" Sy a whole cat.
- "The Fallen's Pact" an interesting title. I didn't take note before, but a very interesting title indeed. Is the fallen one the summoner who has to bind themselves to the Archfiend Sovereign? Is the fallen one the Archfiend himself?
- "Welcome to Philos, Archfiend Sovereign. It's the epitome of boring." I missed this MC. One of her best characterizations together with his other myth.

Chapter 2
- He wants to kill her so bad, I'm living.
- "A crimson light flashes across his right eye" So he already has the protocore it seems.
- She's not playing either lmao. Throwing bottles and knives at him, him pinning her on the dinner table. Their foreplay rituals are always amusing.
- Hahahahahahah no my good man they're not fucking, not yet at least, they're just trying to kill each other. Do warn the other guests at the inn that they don't need to worry.
- aksjhdasjdlaskdj?????? "The chaos in the room moves from the dining table to the bedroom" OKAY THEN MAYBE WE DO FUCK
- Yes sir I do want to expose myself at this very moment. Be a gentleman and lend a hand or two.
- "It binds my hands to the headboard" stop threatening me with a good time!
- He tied her to the bed and now he's going to forcibly break their linkage, fully knowing that she'll bear the side-effects of that. All I can say is: hot. Hate each other more.

- NOT THE GULP SOUND HAAHAHAHAHAHAH
- "You're pretending to be an entire lineage by yourself?" It is funny, I have to agree with him.
- And he goes right for the husband title while she was going for fiance, of course lol
- Count Cyrus. Oh the memes we'll get.
- Excellent chapter, 10/10

Chapter 3
- Pretty sure Mage A's VA was one of the Sea God's statues in Raf's myth. Glad he's a regular now at Infold!
- That... looks remarkably similar to a Spatium core ability.
- Hahahaahah yes Sylus use her money. This is hilariously the opposite of their present timeline.
- MC reacts to the sentence about a rose in the mist, but if it's her than it means she was that young poet who died while her lover, the archmage, wrote her the poetry book. And Sy made the entire story up but he's all the more suspicious for it. Why this story in particular, and why does MC reacts that way to it if it's not true in some capacity?
- I'm just now properly noticing that Sylus hair is not entirely silver, they put warmer hues in some strands. It suits him a lot.
- And they're fighting again. Guys, just fuck, you'll feel more relaxed.
- Aw their first time sleeping together in the same bed! <3
- Oh? A dream from the past? Was Sylus actually telling the truth with that story? If that story is true, he was an archmage who descended into the underworld? The fallen one?

Chapter 4
- lsadjflksadjslkjd Death&Rebirth reference. Which is very metaphorically apt in this myth, but it's also, you know, literal.
- hdsljasldkjsadlaskjdlaskjdlkj the growling
- Those nsfw accounts making sex audios will have a field day with this myth
- "It's as if in some distant past, I had looked upon an ebony city like this." !!!!!!!!! Past myth reference? Or are we still talking about the archmage past life?
- "He lowers his head to take in my scent." I'm so weak for this shit
- "He slowly licks my cheek" OKAY
- Damn they might not need to fuck actually if drinking from her wrist is already like this.

Chapter 5
- "When the roses bloom again, will you remember who I am now?" Oh? "So long as our souls remain unchanged, we'll surely recognize each other" (nice fade-out effect on the voice)
- The entire town is having the same dream, Sylus included. I wonder if they're both going to remember who they are from their past life. Oh the narration tells us about his dream!
"He held this bundle of warmth in his arms as if to dispel the vivid despair from his dream." My poor heart.
- The Chef is the same VA as Mage A and the Sea god statue! Hi!
- Aw yes comfort the poor chef. Be gentle with him, Sy, he's only doing his best. It's not his fault he can't cook a steak that's rare enough for your refined taste.
- His tone is becoming more tender <3
- A...white crow? Mephisto??
- They're fighting together now <3 and then she suddenly falls as the curse hits her again, and Sylus rushes to her <3 This is cruel infold, either describe this scene properly like in a novel, or animate it entirely!
- "He raises his wrist and pierces his skin with his fangs." PLEASE PLEASE DOES HE MAKE HER DRINK IT PLEASE
- "Drink." I'm ascending

Chapter 6
- Time to see husband's abode.
- NOT THE CATHEDRAL
- NOT THE ORGAN
- The underworld being filled with discarded fates as people from different timelines try to rewrite it is a very cool idea. Is that underworld a point of connection for different (discarded) timelines just like the fractal library is one for timelines that saw their fate to their end?
- "You only require blood now" and we get back our strength in a coffin. Fully transformed huh lol
- "Then my gaze lands on his busy, happy figure" and he's humming :( shut up he's so cute :(
- "only a certain person can grant me true death" and you have him in front of you! Oh, MC.
- Imagine falling in love with an immortal human, turning them so they can come to the Underworld with you and finally ending your loneliness in the process, only to find out that all you've been doing since you met is helping them die.
- "We're like kindred spirits." Stahp
- NOT THE ORGAN AGAIN
- This chapter was just pain.

Chapter 7
- NOT MEPHISTO
- NOT THE SEA OF FLOWERS
- I'm in pain. Too many references.
- They sleep together in the coffin. Must be a tight fit. And she wakes up "thirsty" :D There's a whole three-course meal next to you, lady.
- ....judging by his voice, he's thirsty too. These two always manage to sound 18+ without even showing anything on screen.

- They would sound less obscene if they were actually fucking.

- MC is rethinking her plans and tbh I would too after a night like that.

Chapter 8
- Depression, here we go.
- We're getting more of his point of view, I love this. I mean, sadness all around, but I love this.
- Are we sure that's the sound a skeleton would make???
- Oh shit they went all in with the blood splatters on him. His hand is completely covered in blood.
- "What a shame. We almost died." "Yes. We barely avoided that opportunity" as Join Me In Death blasts in my ear is an experience.
- The goodbye kiss ;_;
- Ok the archmage is not Sylus, if Sahren is indeed the archmage in question. Also it's again the Chef's, Mage A's, and the Sea God's statue VA lol. His rent was due or something.
- "My curse..is a fragment of an incomplete soul?" Now that's a sentence I need to think about for a few hours.
- So I'm fragmentless, and Sylus too. "We had identical soul fragments." I'm still going back to that story Sylus told. I still have the feeling it's true. It's interesting that what makes MC not immortal anymore is freeing herself of that soul fragment, which is the same as the one Sylus had.
- "you'll never be as powerful as you once were. you've chosen the most difficult future for yourself." a fallen's pact, mayhaps?
- "I found the person whom I want to spend the rest of my life with. Yet I'm afraid our life together has started too late." Bars. Killer lines.

Chapter 9
- Not them imagining their life together and it's the last chapter of the myth so I know they're both going to die in /checks watch 20 minutes 
- "I could sing" SYLUS
- This dialogue is destroying me. "They'll [our arguments] be about a dish's seasoning." All I do is suffer in this game.
- Now that I think about it, the Sacredcore is like Philos' core, devouring souls while promising a power that it never delivers, as it only takes and takes. So now that the Sacredcore has been destroyed, Philos will go along with it. The question is if the planet will collapse on its own, or if it will be because of the people living on it losing their minds.
- The line! The line from the dream! And it is from when their paths first became linked. Damn you infold, we have now two full timelines that we need to witness.
- "Looking back, it has been a long time." Excuse me? Do you remember?
- It's so sweet that at the beginning they were pretending to be married, but now it's sincere ;_; Also YES to the wings appearing properly even outside of kindled scenes.
- When he says "just so you're aware, no one wanted me in philos" the way he moves and how that line is acted out. It's perfect, it's absolutely perfect. It's that rare moment where I could forget this is 3D and not an actual person.
- "Sylus, you're no longer an existence that no one wants." "I'll remember that." STOP
- NOT THE FADE OUT VOICE AGAIN IT WASN'T LIKE THIS IN THE TRAILER
- A flashforward? A flashback?
- NOT THE PAST MYTH'S LINES STOP IT HURTS

you are going to hate me again and i'm not even sure i'd blame you. so!

i started off with 34 pulls to hard pity. between the 4 tickets i'd saved up somehow, the 10 we get from the event and the 20 we got for the game hitting #1 in the china leaderboards, i was going to get my first shot at a card without having to spend either money or diamonds. so i shove 24 wishes into the machine and then i'm on countdown. i get the big red flash on pull 28 and wooo, i win! Crimson Rapture ever so gently falls into my lap.

i take a victory sip of tea.

two more pulls, i've earned 3 more golden tickets from the general pity rewards to throw into the grist mill, so, pull 32 incoming aaaaaand... big red flash? nani!? oooh c'mon c'mon c'mon aaaaad... crow feathers! RED CITY SCAPE! ....Crimson Departure embeds itself between my big startled eyes. i still.. i still have 5 golden tickets and i'm... done?

i pulled this faster than the idol cards even and i was ludicrously lucky on those! so i'm STILL sitting on my diamond stash, it's completely untouched, and i need you to understand that god loves me and you can touch me if you like.
