i am in the middle of updating and rearranging the personal pages for the boys because it's always nice to shuffle up the furniture every now and again, and i'm currently on Zayne. i always seem to forget just how beautiful some of the card art is - either with how its drawn or just the emotion it's trying to convey.

below are my favorite three cards for Zayne:

OK yes I totally agree but also hear me out because this has been driving me insane ever since I started playing this game: am I hallucinating or is Zayne different between his original trailer, the 4 star drawn cards, and then his 3d in-game model? In Glittering Lights he straight up looks like his own brother or something. He's always incredibly handsome, but at times I look at him and go "...Do I know you, sir?"

you are not hallucinating, i've noticed it too, particularly on this go-round where i was looking at every single card i had. his original look has definitely morphed a bit over time to his current incarnation.

even just comparing "Intercostal" which is recent within the last couple of months to "Glittering Lights", they definitely look more like brothers or close cousins. his face has grown a little longer, a little pointier and his jawline seems to have smoothed out a little.

i don't judge, i can't draw at all but of all of them, Zayne does seems to have slid a bit from his original intention. Xavier's got a few like that as well but its not as pronounced.
