Hold on, I was so sure you watched it when you went through Long Awaited Revelry the first time around, since it takes place in that timeline and tells you how MC ends up getting the brooch before their mission together.

You will see it! It's the first Bond memory you unlock with him, "Midnight Stealth". You get it by reaching Affinity 10.

That scene where he throws her back on the bed, yes, just yes. 
And how seemingly uninterested he is in her unless she is the one initiating things with him. We know he's anything but nonchalant even at the beginning, but he's the only LI I believe would 100% remove himself from MC's life if she showed she wasn't into him.

i did not, in fact, go look! i have so MANY of these stories just collecting in the background while i focused on more important things, like dress up games and Abyssal Chaos. i read all the Anecdotes as I got them, and most of the audio stories but these ones were very much just being hoarded for, like, no good reason. i just liked knowing they were there!

but now... NOW i remember and am hitting them up one at a time. every now and again, another level 15 memory will hit this board, seven months after i first acquired it. i predict a lot of cognitive dissonance in your near future.

as I said somewhere (might even have been tumblr), Sylus just seems like he's marking time with Onychinus and the N109 because he's got to do something while he's waiting around for us to get it together, so he might as well sit on top of the local pile while he does it. and if we don't get it together, he seems like he'd just fuck off into the stars again and wait for the next incarnation to show up and see how that one went.

(also, his hands are So Big. i have a things for those; his grip is immaculate and I think about it sometimes.)

Sylus really embodies the purest form of enthusiastic content - if you're not JUST as into it as he is, locked in and loaded for bear, he's not willing to dance. you're either all in, or he's all out.

Yes yes that's the same vibe that Sylus gives me. He's very confident and sure that he and MC are bound together, but he's also someone who won't entertain anything less than full commitment because they both deserve that and nothing less, so if MC is not up for a joy ride in this life, he's just going to wait for the next. Which doesn't mean that he doesn't feel as strongly about them being together, since we saw how pissed off he was at the beginning of Long-Awaited Reverly when he realized that MC hadn't found him because she remembered him and wanted him.
