I watched what I was able to watch from my tiny ass phone screen with my weak connection, and it looks like it won't be spicy but funny and wholesome but they got me with whatever the heck is going on with Raf. I'll have to pull for my sanity and for more 5 star cards for battles.

i think i will be okay skipping this one and just watching the playthrough somewhere else. i gotta make a sacrifice somewhere to hoard the diamonds so i'll just spend whatever free pulls we might happen to get and maybe i'll get lucky. or there will be no free pulls and that decision will be made for me!

i take it back. i just finished watching the 3-5 minute kindled cutscenes for each of the boys, and they all have my heart. Xavier's was the outright cutest, i love that starman, but I am now having an internal staff meeting over whether or not we need to acquire Caleb's card or if we just want it really, really bad.

I debated whether to pull for this banner or not, but then I thought that I really need 5 stars for my battle teams, so even if green (Raf's stella for the beach banner) isn't what I need, it's still better than the 4 stars I was using, so I decided to participate.
I was lucky enough to acquire (thanks to the 26 pulls to the next 5 star card pity I was left with) Caleb and Raf within 30 pulls. Caleb came in 18 pulls, which triggered my perfect wish for Raf and he joined after 6 pulls only. I still had to go all the way up to 75 because I wanted to give Raf his swimsuit and myself the sight of his almost-bare everything. Then I got the 10 free pulls from the event shop and happily stopped at 85 pulls. I am 9 away from the next 5 star memory, I'll keep it for the next banner I want to participate in. Also went from 24k red diamonds to 17k and didn't spend real money. Good job me.

We'll see how long it lasts because infold really put every single thing behind a paywall this time.
The promise rerun (with Raf's green stella Homecoming Sonata -- but Zayne's heartstring healer is also a very good card) costs money, and if you want to rank it it costs purple diamonds. If you want the outfits and pose in Bamboo Kismet that's also real money. If you want MC's beach outfit you either buy it with purple diamonds or you pay for the Summer promise.
They're really making this game +18 through microtransactions and P2P schemes.

I still haven't watched the two cards I got but I will come back with comments.

aaaand on the third wish, I got Caleb's card.

i am stunned. absolutely gobsmacked. i... have no idea what to do with myself now.  take a shower? squee under the water?! eeeeeeeeeeeee

you know what the real takeaway is here? we pull on everything. because we have impulse control in the basement. i don't need any of these cards, probably. sylus is coming up but that's ages away. and there's BEACH SHORTS.

if i pull 75, i can get Caleb's shorts and I'll have a shot on the 50/50 to get another beach card for funsies. that seems.. reasonable. right?

PS: there was an MMO i played ages back that let you earn titles in game doing various things that would display on your overhead nameplate. and every time i started a new character, i bee-lined for the requirements for "Poor Impulse Control" because i needed every team i was on after that to understand without asking what they could expect from me.

Playing Raf's card now (I'll try to keep it spoiler free, but in case I'll warn in advance)

- Love how they reference other past cards. It really feels like you share memories with the LI. And judging from the references, this should be placed after everything, including the wedding banner.
- LOL okay we have another NPC VA winner. Good job, Miner.
- We don't talk enough about what a polyglot Raf is.
- Some fans take this beach banner as the "honeymoon" following the wedding banner, and while we are past that event, I keep on thinking that with Raf the wedding banner takes place all the way back in their relationship - even before the main story branch - given MC's ignorance of the fact he's the Sea God. Information that in this banner she clearly has.
- Pfffffffft. Good job, Wyvern Coach's VA.
- I am helplessly in love with Raf's VA. Incredible. Oscar worthy. Should be academically studied. His giggles healed me and cleared my pores.

- Infold got better at crowd background noise. First with Xav's myth and now with Caleb's card too. Good for them and for us.
- Lmaoooo Ice Cream Cart Owner. Those VAs are cracking me up.
- euahkasldjslajd MC doesn't deny it ("it" being something you need to see for yourself). Good, good.
- ????? Caleb??????? Hahahahahah oh my god his voice. All the VAs sound like they had lots of fun with this event.

Those were very good cards, damn. It's making me want to pull for the others too, but I'll settle for watching them on youtube. But the action, how much we can see MC (a lot in Caleb's card, a couple of times in Raf's), the dialogues, everything is well done.

i was going to ask you if it would be possible to get you to download a QR code for my Rafayel girlie and take some screenshots for me, even just the scene at the end with the kissing, just so i could hide it in the vault and nuzzle it every now and again when nobody is looking. if its just a hair color glitch though, just post your darling, okay? and i will hide it in the vault and only kiss it on the Rafayel side of the picture when your girl is sleeping.

i'll be honest, when the red flash came up and I saw Caleb's apple background, the FIRST thing that came to mind was "cmon, Farspace Bloomfall! come to me, Colonel Xia!" but "alas".. it was just beach bunny brother :P

it made me cackle though, i was not ACTUALLY rooting for the beach card when the roulette came up aces. i wasn't expecting anything on a third ticket pull so i was caught flatfooted indeed and my brain knew what it wanted.

I'll correct myself. In case you have decided not just the 3 LIs that will be favored in the pulls, but also your precise wish (and it wasn't Caleb) then you're going to get it automatically in the next 5 star. If you haven't triggered the precise wish instead you'll pull with 75% chance.

- Polyglot Raf
So many cards now with him (and also Kahli), he'll show himself more than fluent in a number of local languages (even animal ones). He doesn't seem to describe it as something that he studied deliberately, he just visits a place with MC and then reveal that he can understand whatever language is being spoken there. I don't know if it's a godly attribute he has because he's someone who is biologically attuned toward his subjects (so he has to understand them), or if it's a consequence of how long he's lived, but forget switching to another language for privacy reasons in front of him.

I have one appearance reset ticket, I can buy another to switch to your MC and then back to mine if you want. I can confirm you can glitch your makeup and hair color but not hairstyle, you'll get the standard longhair that the kindled uses. She's kinda visible in a few shots but basically never with her full face. It doesn't help that they're tumble drying for the entire kindle, making decent pauses very difficult from my iPad. I can totally try if you give me her QR code though.
I can show you what I managed to get for my MC.

Compare it to even just two moments with Caleb. MC is way more visible.

this is really out of the blue, but its so apparent on Caleb's screenshots -- i absolutely fucking adore that the girlfriend is mayyyybe a B cup at best. its a personal thing but i love it. since there is no boob slider in this game, if they'd given her a real bust with cleavage, i would be forever rolling my eyes and possibly liking my avatar just that little bit less.

Hard same! I already am less than ecstatic about her exclusively hyper-feminine outfits, but I can totally get behind this. It would be awesome if we could have more freedom with body types but I have no idea how messy it could get with the kindled scenes where you're supposed to find poses that match every single player's choice without encountering clipping issues. This would be the body type I would have chosen anyway even if we'd had more options available, so I just consider myself lucky on that front.

Petition to infold to stop killing off MC because, and I quote, she's too pretty to die.

Oh! I mean yeah sure! Hairstyle will go default but I can totally do hair color and makeup. Though I don't think you can QR makeup, only MC's entire face from your profile page. So you'd have to tell me which settings you've chosen for hair/makeup.
