what are the chances the 6th Love Interest is whoever's in control of EVER? 

i am wandering through some fiction stuff and thinking about, for all we know of EVER and its experimentations and even its goal missing the ever important why.... what if the power on that particular throne is somebody who's fated for you? and they're making sure that humanity has the lifespan (so they have the lifespan) to stay with you? 

or to trap you.

People have been theorizing that the 6th LI is going to be an important member of EVER (even its CEO) ever since the entire concept of a 6th LI came to be. Alternatively, someone who's involved with EVER but not necessarily so up high.
Others have theorized it could be the sickly guy at the end of Homecoming Wings (dude who talks to Prof Lucius and says something like "I've been waiting for so long") because he was described a little too much in detail and his VA was too good to be just an NPC.
But the theory of him being part of EVER is very popular because we're still missing a foil for Rafayel, and who could be a better foil for a passionate artist if not some cutthroat business guy? We're also missing a proper enemies-to-lovers trope; both Caleb and Sylus zoomed past it at the speed of light.

Jokes aside, I'd love it if the 6th LI turned out to be from EVER. The angst! The drama! I can already picture the fan wars because EVER has pretty much destroyed the life of all the other LIs at some point, and here would come this hot man responsible for it or working for those responsible for it.

what's the speculation on the archetype the imaginary 6th Love Interest will follow? enemy-to-lover has already been done twice over as you pointed out. we have the Knight/Captain, Supernatural, the Protector, the Crime Boss and Your Fucked Up Brother.

But that's the thing, we haven't really done enemy-to-lovers. Caleb's enemies-to-lovers situation was cleared out in one chapter and got entirely replaced with the yandere vibe. And Sylus is more rivals-to-lovers than enemies-to-lovers all things considered. There's no proper villain among the love interests. And I know that if the 6th came from EVER we would still get him to come to our side at a certain point, but c'mon Infold, Sylus is the sweetest man ever, give me an actual asshole to thirst after!

speculating again, as I'm working my way through Kahli with Sylus .. this mysterious "Mr. J" from Biosun Pharmaceuticals could be in contention, right? the Kahli flowers extend lifespan, which is why EVER's subsidiary Biosun is messing things up here trying to figure it out.

I don't think it's a spoiler since it's part of the same Kahli missions you're doing and you're going to clear it out in 20 minutes or so, but I'm pretty sure they establish J is Jasper? Or I remember there being a Jasper who betrayed them?

yeah, i JUST found that out as i just finished the Kahli runs and tied off Sylus with a nice little bow around his neck.

Idk the 6th LI could still be anyone (including the friends we made along the way), so I'm definitely not closing any door on that. Someone from biosun instead of Ever is interesting though.
