Since I've been concentrating so hard on Caleb for the last little bit, I thought I'd spend some happy downtime in the Photo Booth with Xavier just to see what I could come up with.  I don't have that many poses for him since I've been spending my spare Chocolates on the problematic pilot but... yeah. 

Oh, yeah. I don't talk about this man very much but he is so dear to my heart.

I LOVE the lighting in the first two! Is it one of the standard sets or a custom one you made?

well, when you mentioned that I always seem to use a warm yellow light (so cash money of me, i agree) i thought i'd try and step away a little bit from it to see what else I could do without blasting everything with megawatts from the non-existent sun.

yeah, the first two are custom lighting / poses that I set up! I was trying to do something interesting with the three (3) backgrounds I actually have and I discovered I could in fact spin the camera BEHIND the frame and flowers to get a slightly-different-than-usual look.

on the second set I aimed both white lights at Xavier's face, dressed him in the whitest thing I have and actually... ended up with something I really, really like. I mean, it even LOOKS intentional! If I get time this weekend, I want to play with this idea some more so i guess mentally brace for more artistic idiocy.

okay, decided to go the opposite direction this time and do as little lighting as possible. with the little extra chocolates I got, i was able to afford the cosmos background which i thought was a good option for the star boy.

my kingdom for a third/spotlight source.

Such a pretty boy, even in the dark. Look at that shining outline!
Also the cosmos background is a great choice and works with so many pictures because it just gives you this feeling of being out with the boys enjoying the starry sky
(damn the third source light would be so good, pity I've already sent my survey; the next one I'll remember to put it in as a suggestion!)

we should probably make a stickied thread somewhere which is THINGS WE WISH INFOLD WOULD IMPLEMENT and just add stuff to it as we think of it so we're ready to put it on blast at a moment's notice.
