i am not sure of the haircut honestly, but nothing else really jivved so i'll live with it for a bit and see if it grows on me. i was of two minds on how to approach someone that Rafayel ² would fall in love with forever, and it was either somebody completely opposite (serious, somewhat rules-bound, irritable even (ie, any detective in a drama tv show)) or somebody who is very much like him (bright, personable, with a streak of moral pragmatism). we've gone for option 2 here but do not be surprised if you see some iterations on the other.

the main story is more the first but i think its acceptable to ignore the canon personality for MC since it swings so wildly.

I would add that canon MC is pretty much 2 as well (with a nice streak of 1 when needed), it's just that you see it in his cards rather than the main chapters you've seen so far. It's up to you to consider the cards non-canon to the main storyline as some fans do; I personally integrate the cards inside the canon storyline, but I understand the other point of view.
But I'll happily see your alternative takes!

I will admit I would have preferred a smoother transition into the long hair (his normal hairstyle is easily visible and then you have the long strands of hair a bit too similar to extension), but the overall effect is still absolutely stunning!

I will stubbornly still call him a little prince despite the regal /gestures at everything.
They erased the timeline where he was crowned, so it's justified.

today's event unlocks had a battle bit, so i was looking at the loading screen (obvs) and honestly... the animation is outstandingly beautiful. the way that he plants the sword with real emphasis and then he just * wrenches * it to the side as if it has real weight is amazingly done. the flowers and stuff are super pretty too, but its the gravity of that whole sequence that grabs me every time.

its just pixels, but in that heartbeat you can just feel how massive that sword it, and that's something i just specifically wanted to point out for all that it last 2.1 seconds. whoever creates those movements behind the scenes deserves a really nice dessert at a fine dining restaurant.

Yes, they really do such a great job with motion capture and microexpressions!
I think it was in yesterday's exploration that we had that scene where MC wanted to use Xav's sword and he was like "Can you even lift it?" and then she started swinging it at the tree and he just "Yes you can"
That made me giggle
