This thread could actually be part of POSE TUTORIAL, so if the admin wants, we can move everything there.
But since we were dipping our feet in poses etc., I can proudly say I'm satisfied with my profile for the current season.
Then something I'm currently experimenting on is finding an MC makeup-setting for each LI. I already consider her another version of herself with each LI, the stories overlap but don't touch each other, and it just makes sense to me. So here what I'm currently satisfied with:
For Caleb an MC that looks a bit younger. Freckles, long hair (because he talks about doing her hair more than once), the girl from next door you grew up with.
For Zayne a mature MC that looks like she knows what she's doing. Black hair, a tidy and pragmatic haircut that is feminine but halfway between the pixie cut she would have gotten if she were younger, and the stereotypical long black hair tied in a ponytail that should be required of her. She's grounded like him, provides softness and support but is complementary to his personality.
And for Sylus an MC that to me looks like she's leaning more toward seductress/femme fatale vibes. Ash blond hair because it's lore relevant.
I know what I want for Xav's MC but I'm still testing out all the makeup combo I want. For Raf I'm half a mind to keep the MC you've already seen in the pictures. Dark green hair that goes so well with marine colors, a little wave in her hair, something prickly about her because she's playful and sassy just like him and will take no shit from him.
But we'll see once I start experimenting tomorrow.
Also I'm very smart and I didn't actually save all the single makeup combos, so tomorrow I'll have to try and recreate them again.

these are all incredibly lovely, i love what you've done here. both Caleb and MC do look like younger versions of themselves ("before it all went wrong") and the poses you've got for each couple is really spot on. i like that the flower details look different simply due to the lighting - and that (probably unintentionally) the way the shadow falls on Sylus's makes it look like he has a buzz cut in the back.
i am pretty confident i can't make my profile that cohesive, but now you want to make me try.

OK I saved all the combinations so I can replicate it in future with cutscenes etc.
The poses are actually pretty standard for what you get with regular affinity, I haven't bought that many from the chocolate shop. It's the infinite struggle between buying clothes or buying poses.
Raf's MC is confirmed to be the one I played with until now. Idk, the vibe is just right, she looks like someone who would piss him off just for fun.
For Xavier I finally settled on this version of MC. More elegant, still reachable and can be talked informally to, but she also looks like she could be the daughter of an important diplomat. Xav probably wants to roleplay royalty with her.

I needed an MC that would get these fine 5 men on their knees. I've been playing for less than 2 months and already I'm resisting the temptation of running a second account just to create another MC. You blink and you go from LaDS to The Sims.
I was also thinking about the quality of your photo, and I think it might have to do with the fact you're on the emulator. The size of the pictures that come out of it also should depend on that, reason why the collage works well on ipad and mobile, not necessarily on something else.
The glitch to make your MC look in the cutscenes just like she looks in the photobooth?
It's actually very quick to do once you get the routine going! I usually do it once I login so I'm all set for the rest of my gaming time. Unless I need to change MC's looks like in this case.
Basically go in the
1) Photo Studio (any LI, it doesn't matter),
2) Snapshot,
3) tap Next so you can get to the page where you can click "Style Me", then style her hair and makeup any way you want.
4) Once you've chosen her hairstyle+makeup go to Accessory, Facial, and scroll down until you get to the glasses called Infinite Future (there's only one accessory after that, so you can scroll to the bottom of the list directly). Click on the "i" button that will give you the info on them. This will trigger the popup with the description of the glasses, tap "Go" where it should technically send you to the Promise that is the source of those glasses.
5) A message will pop up "Are you sure to proceed?" click Confirm.
It will load the page, say "Promise expired" and send you back to the homepage.
That's it, now you've glitched your hairstyle, test it in your cutscene/memory of choice!

i.. i really need more and better poses. and more clothing. but also, a tragic what if about three chapters from now.
i think i figured out the quality issue on the snapshots - i actually have to rotate the emulator in order for the snapshot to save at full resolution in the correct orientation. while the main image here on the forum is obviously reduced, i linked it to the image at full scale and the quality seems where it ought to be.

Yes that looks like the correct size! Try with different lights and zoom on the details to see if it matches my screenshots.
Lack of poses and clothes is the bane of my existence too. Some poses can be bought with red diamonds (Shop > Selected > Items), but most of them come from the chocolate shop, and that will give you a rigid week cap. Speaking of which, play the new Xav-event where you have the mini supermaket game! That will also give you extra chocolate!
Clothes are either from the chocolate shop, or you have to spend purple diamonds (ranging from 2 months to 4 months of aurum to gather enough for 1 outfit).

speaking of the new shopping mini-game, i am really enjoying this one, probably because i am big fan of organizing and sorting shapes and colors together just tickles me pink. i am a big fan of "easy" things in gatcha games, i like it when they don't make it complicated.
i had a good enough time on the bouncy ball game but it was awwwkward to play on an emulator without fussing around making a swipe feature work.

Yeah I can't even imagine the logistics of it on an emulator.
I'm having lots of fun with this mini game, and usually a good indicator for that is when I still play it even after I've capped the amount of points I can get in a day. It was the same with the game they had with the spring event. It didn't even have a timer, I played it sooo much. Hopefully they'll reskin it and use it again in a future event.

My first "big" purchase in the outfit department is likely to be the black Experimental Weapon X-02 for Caleb. To be strictly honest, I don't really care for much in the the way of the clothing in the store, except for Rafayel's gear which is almost all stunning on him, but everybody else just gets styles that don't do much for me personally, or I think don't at all suit the boyfriend's vibe.
I did buy the matching outfit for Abysswalker, because duh, and I was silly and also got the matching outfit for the girlfriend to God of the Tides just because it was so damned pretty I couldn't help myself. Not that I have God of the Tides or anything, I just wanted to swish around in veils in the glamour booth.
