Mentally, physically, emotionally, I'm still here.
I will, at a certain point, get over this myth. Possibly within the next month when they'll drop the next main story update (Xav and Raf's are rumored to be the ones following Sylus and Zayne's Death&Rebirth at the end of July). I shan't apologize for the person I'll keep on being in the meantime.

(I still haven't bought the bride outfit actually. Between the two the blue one is the one I prefer, but I'm still debating whether to buy it or not. Part of it is because, no offense to this outfit which is gorgeous and extremely detailed, my own personal taste is always in the opposite direction of bubbly princess hyperfeminine pop - which is MC's vibe 98% of the time - so if I want to see a mermaid-adjacent outfit in glint I guess I'd buy God of Tides instead. Then there's the fact that if I buy an outfit for a companion I do have I can see it in battles, so I'm debating a lot whether I want Abysswalker instead - who I use very often - or if I should wait because down the line we'll have Sylus 3rd myth and Abysm Sovereign rerun and I might just lose my mind then and need all the purple diamonds I can store)

for the record, i am so looking forward to Abysm Sovereign if it (is it guaranteed?) is to come up again because I Want It So Bad. it was the preferred companion in Abyssal Chaos in the first couple of weeks that I started so I got to see the combat animations before I stopped engaging with that storyline because it was going too fast for my story noggin, and man oh man, what i wouldn't give to have those cards.

for the record, i've personally decided that unless a card is super sexy spicy, I'm only going to pull for full on myth cards for battle, or cards that are good battle cards. story lore, as you've so helpfully nudged me towards, i can watch on youtube at my leisure and all i'll miss out on is taking my own screenshots and making little gifs in high resolution which is not the end of the world.

as mentioned, i would also would prefer more outfits that are more Cut A Bitch than KPop Star, but we gotta grow where we're planted i guess. and its weird but when you said you weren't sure if you were going to get it or not, my interest level dropped about 10% for some reason and I already wasn't super sold on it, so thanks! maybe i'll get it anyways in a fit of glitter euphoria, maybe not.

also, the God of Tides girlfriend outfit is definitely hawt. i am glad i bought it; i look like Hatshepsut come to life, only a little watery.

It isn't guaranteed, but the rumored roadmap has been correct for the past 5 banners and hasn't missed even once. So if AS rerun happens it will be in november. The problem with reruns is that they're more expensive than new myth banners. You don't have any free pull, don't have rewards etc. It's just you pouring diamonds in until you get it. Lumiere was a little bloodbath, and if I had known back then that a few months later I would have gotten a yellow stellactrum DEF myth in the form of Sea God Rafayel, I wouldn't have pulled for Xav, to be honest.
Not to say that Lumiere isn't amazing, because he is, but at a certain point I had to start thinking in terms of the main LI I wanted to pour money on, because my current budget doesn't allow me more than that. And that's going to be Raf, so every other solo or myth banner will be skipped.
Sylus is the only one who will make me stop and possibly ruin my wallet. But it's Sylus, what did you expect. The real difficult choice will be between AS rerun or the new myth, because I'll probably be able to go for only one of the two. AS scales on HP, and I don't have that many protocores leveled for HP builds. If the new myth comes up as ATK or DEF then I might go in that direction since I'm already leveling both builds for Abysswalker (Atk) and Lumiere/Sea God (Def).

Your choice of only going for specific cards that you really really want to play yourself (+ battles) while you enjoy the rest on youtube is 100% a good strategic idea. Also watching the new cards on youtube even before you start pulling so you make informed choices. Some cards might not be worth it even if they're shiny and new.

Aw I hope I didn't pour a bucket of ice water on what enthusiasm you had for it! If it didn't cost purple diamonds I wouldn't even hesitate. It's the limited resources I have that's making me especially picky.

nah, fret not -- i am as susceptible as the next pipqueak when it comes to frivolous bling but i already HAVE a blue frilly dress and this one just sparkles a bit more. its cute. it also costs a bunch of money that i could just save for Sylus' towel look or something, yanno?

like, if Catch-22 runs again, there is no question, i'm going to get as much of it as i can. looking ahead, i'm interested in Xavier's new myth (since i don't have Lumiere), the solo for Sylus depending on what it is for either spicy or stellactrum, but then it starts looking ugly with Zayne's myth in October, Sylus's Abysm Sovereign in November and then Sylus' new myth in December so that's gonna be.. a thing. i may just beg for an early christmas "gift card".

so i updated my "Bride, Come Closer" picture and then tried to make my profile page look more like yours because it was so pretty, to somewhat reasonable success? i think it looks okay? really wish we could do more with it, like change the background color and stuff.

oh, that is a LOVELY pose! you look fantastic and Rafayel looks both aloof and edible. i am continually astounded at how good you are at arranging things that the box did not come built for.

I can't take credit for the pose because I used a template found on twitter! (the ones where you scan the qr code and import the pose, you should have a tutorial on how to import templates in one of the menu guides I made; if needed I can make it again/anew). I only changed the light and the camera angle.

i realized while i was getting settled in for some more of Abysswalker, that Zayne's avatar was just... terrible. so made a couple more that i thought were better! (i have obviously gotten very excited over the possibilities in the Photo Studio Thingie. true creativity will have to come about three months from now when i have gotten over the excitement of the regular poses).
