Can we take a moment to put ourselves in Caleb's shoes for a second. You're in love with your meimei but you're not exactly sure confessing would go well between you two because up until yesterday she acted like a spoiled and overprotective sister with you, but never quite crossing that obsession into something you could see as fully romantic and adult without a doubt. Then that amusement park happens, and the vibes were vibing, this time you really thought she was giving you the right signals, and even if you're terrified that changing your relationship will somehow make you fall apart down the line and separate you, you want it too much and it's just a matter of time. Then she wakes up after the operation and doesn't remember anything, but she keeps on saying shit like this and how are you supposed to cope?
