okay, i only watched it a few more times (cough) and i am still not sure what to make of it, but i am sold, no question.
1) long hair on Caleb looks just a good as i hoped it would
2) the imagery is flawless, with the golden lotus motif and the purple energy waves
2b) his fucking eyes glowing with power! eeeeeeee
3) Caleb as both ruthless and doting at the literal same time is so on brand i can't even (i don't want to even)
4) i love the very ritualistic look of everything going on
5) i have no idea what is going to happen in the story, which is kind of a plus for me. the stuff in the trailer seems somewhat disjointed and missing context which i hope just means there's more they're not showing.
6) the english "sister" is superlative, no notes, thank you infold
7) i would like to be rich to be able to afford to get both outfits but its unlikely. i am somewhat tickled that the girlfriend's hair is really close to what i'm currently rocking for her look for him with the braids and flowers.
8) that his scimitar slashes through the fabric of reality? like... phwoar. like, are we talking The Subtle Knife?!
10) please please please make the girlfriend possessive and entitled in this. just this one time i really wanna see her dig her fingernails into all that skin.
