You are so right. I guess in my brain when both people are equipped to unalive a monster 10 times the size of an average human, what's left in these situations is at least the intention of gallantry. That they both shrug and stop talking should have convinced Xav there was absolutely no romantic vibe going on, which makes his jealousy even pettier.
