They do! The text messages also get a bit different. Just like you can also track through the cards you receive if they're in pre-romance, early romance, or full established romance based on how they're talking to you, how much they flirt, if they're referencing events in other cards etc. Or at least, with Raf it was so evident that I started making a timeline (which I'll share once I've gone through the 5 star cards. For now I did all the 4 star)
