I think I'm about to blow your mind and make your week:
You can't equip more than 2 solars, but the companion isn't exclusive to the cards it came with.
You know the page where you can see MC, your companion, and then the 6 cards below? Well, just like you can change MC's weapon by tapping on the circle next to her, you can also change companion by tapping the circle next to him. Myth companions aren't tied to the cards they come with, they just have added synergy with them. You can use Sea God companion with any set of solar cards, even abysswalker. And the same goes the other way around, you can use abysswalker companion but with the yellow myth cards. How efficient this is comes down to the protocores you put on them.

Let's imagine a battle that requires 4 blue and 2 red cards.
I can decide to do: abysswalker solar cards (2 purple), 3 blue lunar cards and 1 purple (the strongest card I have).
Each matching Stella color adds 5% dmg, so I'm getting 15% added dmg, I equip protocores with both ATK and DEF, and then select Sea God as companion so that he will fully take advantage of both stats.
When you're brute forcing you need a high crit rate because you need to compensate for all the damage you're not doing with the weakened enemy (when you destroy all their shields), but it's entirely doable.

Yes if you push for your strongest cards and put decent stats (atk and crit rate are very important here) in with your protocores you can totally do it.

There is so much to this new update, it feels like. Maybe its just because the Wedding banner dropped at the same time, but I ran around for over an hour just clicking new buttons and looking at stuff and I didn't get to everything. New Promise as well!

I am looking forward to tonight when I can play through the wedding event with the other four guys (I hung out with Xavier this morning), take a much better look at the event itself for what I have to earn/purchase/wish for (note to self: check youtube for playthroughs) and then delve into the Sleep WIth Me Senpai! options.

I am used to MMOs which drop expansions every two or three YEARS and small updates every six months. Not this 18 day churn or whatever the turnaround on these things is. Its still a little overwhelming.

Yes omg I'm still trying to get used to the new features (the widgets the journal the new training new abyssal new open orbit ecc.), so much stuff. Also so much stuff they promoted as "free" actually comes after you pay lol
Remember that the cards in this banner directly reference their myths! The event is fine, but the cards themselves contain spoilers or at least elements that would confuse you or that you wouldn't catch. And speaking of the cards, many people are complaining that the writing is generally underwhelming. For now I watched Caleb's (cute but confusing as heck because it's unclear whether it takes place before or after his birthday- both options contain contradictions), Sylus' (a good card), and Rafs card which I pulled for (lore wise it's the most confusing, it potentially takes place before main story where he awakens the tome, but excellent job from the VA and it's worth it at least for those bunch of lines he says that had me melt into the floor). I'll check the last two later.

Ok, I was finally able to play through the entire Evermore Bond event (the 6 chapters for each LI), and I can confidently say that Sylus ATE this entire banner between this event and the 5-star card. Crowned victor on the podium.

The Evermore Bond chapters felt more coherent with the vows/proposal theme even more than the cards you pull for it, which are instead a single episode with the space anomalies that at times goes in conflict with established canon timelines. And for those fans who complained that MC felt too detached in those cards, the chapters definitely fix it.

The issue I have is that Evermore Bond makes more sense than some of the cards. For example, with Raf it's clear this event takes place as a proper vow/proposal event, whereas the 5-star card contradicts itself with dialogues about the Tome and the Sea God which makes it sound like they're way earlier into their relationship, but at the same time they're not.
Same issue with Caleb, with the card playing an odd back and forth with their relationship development (before his birthday? after his birthday? It becomes contradictory either way, like it's playing the same narrative plot point in both), whereas the chaptered event is way more coherent. [Also it's important to consider the original translation, once again, because it is extremely relevant to his characterization]
Zayne's was fine in both, and the placement in the canon timeline is only complicated by the latest addition to the main story, Death&Rebirth. But we can easily place it in the future.
Xavier's was also fine in both, no issues with continuity with him.

I reiterate my point about making sure you play through all the chapters (even on auto and 2x if you want to play them properly later) so that you have them available in your With Him menu after the event ends.

i am literally, right now, playing through the Vow Events and just started/finished for Zayne which is why i stopped in the middle while it was playing the piece you identified as "White Salvation" so i could have it on repeat for a bit while I wandered over here, drinking my ginger ale and nibbling on a cookie.

i am so lost on timeline for the most part and that's okay. i feel like i'm about halfway through everything and i've stalled on Lucid Dream because i'm having agitations over how its going to end, but that's on the docket for this afternoon.

i will come back and update on the various boys if anything stands out particularly dreamily. i have, as always, taken fifteen billion screenshots and that's only for Zayne. it's a good thing i am, in fact, playing on a PC because dear lord, my poor phone otherwise.

World Underneath texts is where you'll properly start putting the pieces together. A lot of answers are also given in Death&Rebirth, but you need the WU texts before that because the new main chapter kinda takes it for granted that you have already gone through them.
The myths are there for you to go "ouch" every three canon lines your LI says. And for some (the ones who until proven otherwise actually remember past times - aka Xavier, Raf, Sylus) the myths are there to understand their actions, especially their initial behavior with MC at the beginning of the game.
It's absolutely okay if it's not clicking yet, there's a lot on the table right now and only some of it is starting to sort itself into a certain order of events.

You still have to reach the juicy juicy part of Lucid Dream! Go forth without fear, soldier.

More than why we are in his bedroom, why do we stay to watch him bathe and sit right next to him??? Did he keep the towel in the bath??? Are we miles past that point since we're ready to propose to each other?? The water was obviously clear since we see those rainboworms tendrils or whatever, so boy was just soaking up some cool water for his merbody, so did MC get an eyeful that was denied to us??

Sylus needs to officially address why he's obsessed with body chains and chain harnesses in particular.
And yeah. Shape leitmotiv in the game just for shits and giggles? Lore relevant? You never know with infold.

god, this was so long ago. but i remember sitting on the side of a tub while my friend lounged in the cool water, talking about god knows what while we both suffered through the early morning hangover. he was naked, i mostly wasn't, and it didn't feel weird at the time because he was feeling sticky and wanted to wash / be underwater for a bit and i wasn't finished talking to him yet so i just followed him into the bathroom and he didn't care. he had a cowboy hat on, if that counts.

Rafayel definitely weaponizes that stuff though - i cannot imagine the towel stayed. so either they're in that liminal space where naked boundaries have fallen by the wayside (easy to imagine, i suspect Rafayel strips often - even after all this time, maybe he still doesn't put a lot of stock in clothing except for ornamental purposes) or they have been fucking so long and so often by this point that its not even worth mentioning.

i gotta say, i vibe with the idea that it's before the sexy shenanigans time, and just in that odd pocket of "this is very normal for Rafayel" and the girlfriend just winging it because if she gets flustered every time he loses his shirt, nothing is ever going to get accomplished.

i, however, got very flustered for a hot second. ye lords, Raf!
