i also have a home with nothing in it :P i bought some plants! i am... not sure what to do with them, honestly. but we'll get there!

i will be back in a little bit (ie, some hours from now) and will figure out how to get big bro to hold my hand in front of the window as well.

Second day with the home system and I'm not sure whether infold was very smart or very mean (possibly both) because so many things are locked behind levels and to unlock them you have to play for days. They wanted the players to live in the game? They're succeeding.
Also, wow I suck at interior decorating. There's a reason I downloaded all the houses in the sims from other players. I wish there was a pause button, taking pictures is so difficult because the LI will resist 2 seconds in place before running off doing whatever. It's funny, but it's also not.

this is going to be a problem. i have a thing for in-game plants because i can't grow anything for love nor money in real life. a benevolent neglect attitude towards reality works for a lot of things, but not for stuff that's alive.

i am with you in spirit on the sudden time sink this new Home thing is turning into. i also can't decorate but i guess we'll both just have to do our level best to come up with something our loved one doesn't have to defend to everyone else. i am unsure how much of this i can actually devote to, but for now i am going to focus on encouraging my garden to blossom. i only have about an hour in the morning before work and some variable time in the evenings, so this is now even more of a juggle and i'm wayyyy behind on card watching.

i know, i know. big girl panties and stuff. i can do this.

on the plus side, i got Caleb to dance with me "romantically" which turned out to be some sort of swing motif. personally i was hoping for the salsa, but i would have settled for a tango!

It's funny how this new home system has completely taken over the fandom. People aren't even taking glint photos anymore lol

I'm not a creep I swear, I just like watching my husband take a shower.
(I was testing out various shower positions to fake shower together, and while I failed in that regard, the two overlapping showers created this lovely shadow/light effect on him)

I'm happy to announce that I successfully replicated the bug so that it looks like they're showering/bathing together <3 
This was a test, I actually changed her outfit to the summer banner one so that she's at least a little more naked. Unfortunately I only have RafMC's outfit, which has the shoulders covered. I might have to invest into Zayne's.




And this is what I managed to do in two rooms with my current level. Living room and the old bathroom which I changed into a reading room (old walk-in wardrobe is the bathroom now). I honestly do not understand how some players are making templates with furniture which is unlocked at level 25 but okay, skill issue clearly. As of now I'm playing with other players' templates for the bedroom and the garden but I plan on making my own version as soon as I have a higher level.
(I'm also having fun putting pictures from myths and AUs around the house. Maybe it'll jog some memories)

wow, these are so lovely! i have been trapped myself into the home system every time i have to go water my flowers, but i haven't spent this much on it at all! i think my favorite is the little fireplace nook because its both unexpected and a wonderful idea for how to use that little space.

i took some more pictures of my slightly updated living room but i doesn't look like i uploaded them so we'll all just have to imagine it :D

Every time I open X or tiktok I find some new player doing something absolutely insane with the home system, making me question whether we're even playing the same game. It's definitely a struggle lol
In my head we're both internationally acclaimed interior designers. Our houses are perfect.
