We know that they now have the top up store directly on their website, so you can buy aurum pass, weekly and limited banner packages, as well as purple diamonds right from their store instead of in-game. This has the immediate advantage of not alerting your bank because instead of X number of very small transactions, you can fill your cart with everything you need and just pay once. The second advantage is that American players will see lower prices from the website since they don't have to add taxes to it or something.
But then it goes even further. Maybe you're travelling and have conveniently decided to take a trip to a country that has a very convenient exchange rate with your currency. In that case the infold shop will give you the currency of the location your IP is set to, with all the packages etc. sensibly cheaper than what you're used to.
It feels like an exploitable loophole, but I don't know how infold could prevent this. Can you stop someone from playing your game unless their IP shows that they are in the same continent they registered the account in (and even then, Europe goes a bit wild with the different exchange rates for the countries that haven't adopted the euro)? Can you stop them from travelling and accessing your website from another IP? Should you lock the price at the IP shown during the registration process?
