100 Day Check In
#1

well, 102 days now or something :D

so, is it okay that i'm still fairly obsessed with this game? like, i know i post fairly frequently here which probably gives it away, but i think about this game All The Time. i have been turning over so much fiction in my head (sorry that barely any of it has made it to digital paper) and thinking a lot about Xavier since I just ate two of his myths over about 5 days because apparently that's as fast as I can go (sorry) and contemplating what I can do with poses in Glint and what would Xavier's starlight look like do you think, and also what to do with the recent Chocolate bonanza (i bought Sylus' poses is what I did. And I think the seascape background that will go well with Rafayel).

like, this game goes at such a fast pace that I'm still not used to it. the constant churn is a little overwhelming still, mostly because trying to get caught up on the relevant backstory when I'm still "slogging" through the backstory has strained the free time I've got a little bit. then again, its a good problem to have I know, because eventually I will run out of back-everything and will be anxiously awaiting the new-everything, but at the rate I can consume, this is going to stretch this out for aaaages. your Timelines are feeling lonely!

will i ever get to Sylus being bad ass in a car.

oh, thank gravy.

so at three months and counting since discovering this place, i am still So Pleased it cannot be overstated. this has been So Much Fun It Ought To Be Illegal and i just wanted to pat everything for being so awesome.

I'm close with 115 something days, and I'm still 100% in hyperfixation mode. The chokehold this game has on me is not so different from when I fall into an ongoing tv show's fandom, or an anime, or an ongoing book series. There's constantly new content coming my way, which means there's always some question I need answered, some mysteries I can obsess over, or a new scenario I can fantasize about when I should be focusing on work lol
It's so bad I've spent the past few days helping phoenike with the main story transcriptions on their notion, happy to just go through the chapters again while I write down every single word I read.

I can only imagine the whiplash you're feeling since you were used to FFXIV updates (hell, I was coming from SWL which has NO udpates; the closest for me was the sims 4 which churns out a new update that breaks everything every other month or so)! But unless you're in the position where you can dedicate an entire day to binge-consuming through an entire playlist or an entire set of texts, your current pace is absolutely normal. Majority of players won't even bother with the cards of the LIs they don't main, they'll just go through the myths because they're lore relevant.

Think of it like this: on average, the game will put out 1 new card every 2 weeks (sometimes it becomes 2 or even 3 because there's also a 10-days-with-you or a Promise event, but the Promise event lasts 50 days so the counter for how-may-new-cards-per-fortnight stays the same). So long as you go through at least 2 cards or 1 card and 1 text or 2 texts every 15 days, you're moving faster than infold and will catch up to them. And majority of content is not like the myths where you have 2 hours of story to go through, sometimes it's a 4 minutes Secret Time, or a 20 minute card etc. As of now you're tackling the chunkiest part of the plot.

I kiss this forum goodnight on the forehead daily and I'm forever grateful of the space you lovingly made!
