Catch-up Marathon

OK this should be the very generic roadmap. You should be able to edit my posts as admin, so you can cross out things as you go, and add whatever I've forgotten!
Only the main story is strictly chronological (with Abyssal Chaos and Unicorns Operation taking place in a close future where they're all in an established romantic relationship. I put it after D&R but it's almost like it's after for Sylus but before for Zayne), once you move on to the LIs, you can choose whoever you want and even hop from one to the other at will. Anecdotes and Myths I'd say are mandatory for each LI because that's what the main plot and a lot of the cards constantly reference.

MAIN STORY

1) Under Deepspace
2) Long-Awaited Revelry
3) Prologue To Tomorrow
4) Homecoming Wings

4.5) World Underneath (19 chapters)

5) Warning: it should be played AFTER reading the Anecdotes and Myths for Sylus and Zayne
Death&Rebirth

[[6) Abyssal Chaos and UNICORNS Operation]]

LADS

isn't it wild that this kind of reference sheet is like, required? so you don't miss anything? I was thinking a day or two ago that now that I'm getting into the "final" nitty gritties (ie, most of the main-main content consumed and now i'm down for the home stretch and then the individual boys) that I should go in and edit the TIMELINES on each to update with a ✅ so i knew where the hell i was.

also, if anybody else ever stumbles into this corner and needs a cheat sheet.

The funny/sad thing is that it isn't really required. But what happens then is that you have people absolutely lost in the sauce because they don't understand half of what is going on. What you're doing is a slow grind and I really admire your patience and determination, but I promise it will pay off. Especially if you're someone who would lose sleep over not understanding where and when certain puzzle pieces fit when you know that the answer is right there. Infold is already ambiguous enough on its own.
Many other players are happy just watching kindled scenes for the cards of their main and that's it. I can't even begin to fathom that kind of approach, but it's there for those who prefer it.

i feel bad for going so slowly sometimes, but i will be fair to myself - when i feel things (and these storylines have made me FEEL THINGS) i don't want to rush past it in some sort of manufactured hurry to get to some arbitrary finish line. you haven't complained so i've tried not to feel like maybe i should speed up.

it's not going anywhere. its a complicated story and i like to cogitate on things. i like that feeling of "woah, wait. that thing is like that other thing, that is SO COOL" and then i post in a flurry and you feed me a carrot and say "so close but you forgot..." and then i can hunker over the pieces again. the back and forth discoveries of things has been so much fun.

...and also being an adult with a job is annoying and sometimes i lose a couple of days to boring things that have nothing to do with reincarnation angst.

i can and have had the game up in the background just so my headphones will play the cafe music at me while I'm doing something else. i have no idea how anybody could focus on just one boyfriend when there's a really fascinating WORLD in there to immerse into.

I will repeat as many times as it takes that you can go as fast and as slow as you need! The first obsessive jump into a new fandom isn't something that can be replicated once you're already in, so enjoy the descent into madness at your own pace. The game will be there and new content will always pile in the back, but eventually you'll reach the point where you can comfortably ruminate over a new update for a week or so before they hit you with the next new shiny thing.
