i get a lot of REALLY great visuals from the audio files - man, i wish i could draw. there are some absolutely lovely scenes being described.

Hard same. It's probably why I end up falling on playlists and fanvideos and writing fanfictions. All those images have to go somewhere, but it would be SO nice if I could just translate them into lines and colors.
