a few comments: 

- oh I so love the setting. they're really tickling all my childhood interests with these myths.
- they keep on getting the palette JUST RIGHT. Curious that it's so similar to Xav though.
- Zayne and his infinitely high libido, as usual lmao
- Seems like we'll be getting some origin lore that might explain why we're living in Linkon messily tangled in fated red strings
- If they do the same thing they did with Raf and Xav, you might need to make sure both Zayne's Foreseer myth and Master of Fate are fresh in your memory. I'm not sure they'll reference things that happened in Death&Rebirth but even that is kind of an echo of his myths, so by having those two down you should be able to catch all main references.
- I'll say this here because otherwise the fandom will eat me for breakfast, but I like Zayne's face animations a lot more in this myth. I don't know, they gave him a face that actually moves, I'm so happy for him.
- The Oath animation!!! The blindfold!!!
- The outfits hellooooo
- Xav's long hair was a bit of a failed experiment IMO, looking a bit too much like extensions glued on his canon hairstyle. I'm very happy to see Zayne doing it properly.
- I shall wait for comments from battle girlies, but they were asking for some much needed crowd control with Zayne, and I'm not sure I saw it in the preview. A claymore companion should ensure he hits harder than his other myths at least, which tend to sit on the lower half of the companion by strength list.

Okay, back! Boss called in "not coming in today" so its just us chickens here in the office and by chickens I mean me, and I don't feel like working (there isn't much work at the moment, i'm not slacking on ACTUAL work).

I was NOT EXPECTING anything like this myth for Zayne. Like, wow. HOT. so damned hot.

-- the exchange of power to .. power? the stone table.
-- that we've come to him in order to do something, that we are at odds with each other (normally?)
-- ritualistic sex! or close enough that I barely even have to squint at it!
-- the nod to egypt themes is On Point
-- Zayne's entire everything, quite frankly. i have never before been so tempted to R2 something in order to get the torn outfit. i won't, its stupidly expensive but if i was independently wealthy, it would not even be a question. that cloth around his hips should be illegal.
-- Zayne's expressions do feel a little less wooden, don't they? i caught some solid smirking in some frames.
-- THAT BLINDFOLD.  1) that is a lovely accessory, and 2) the way she reaches up to tug it off his face is *chef's kiss*
-- I am thrilled with the upgrade on the archer animations and i know it doesn't mean much, but i love the combat colors (green and gold). that's always one of my favorite aesthetics. it means nothing to you but Oschon in FFXIV / Pandemonium raid does exactly that (archer with green/gold mechanics) so my inner happy meter buried its needle in the red as soon as i saw it in the trailer.

I'll be honest, i want this pair so badly now. I was going to skip it, I don't need Zayne for combat if I intend to focus on what I already have but I just know I will KICK myself if I let it slide. I have just under 40k diamonds but two myths coming up that I need to have so I will sit on my hands for a few days once it comes out and we'll see. If they grant us a pile of free wishes, it will be impossible to resist trying for it.

re/Master of Fate and Foreseer myths -- they were upcoming anyways as I noodle my way through World Underneath but I guess I'm just going to interrupt the program and do them now. As it IS quiet today, I will start watching in the next little bit and hopefully will be able to post at least one of them today.

we are soooo fucking on the ritual stone. superlative artistic direction. 12/10. no notes.

honest, this is giving me measureable pants feels. per every other trailer, this is exactly what the cut scene gives with about 2 more seconds bookended on it so its not like we're going to get much more than this, but this is enough to drive about twenty new fics in the next three days.

Oh yeah I was thinking the same earlier: they showed so much of the first kindled scene that it might just be its entirety. Either that, or we're starting to invest in longer and longer cutscenes, which I wouldn't mind at all but I know it would get many people angry because they didn't get it with their LI. It definitely is a bold choice that makes me excited for future spicy cards (still waiting on those Infold!) if THIS is what we're allowing ourselves to blast on a myth trailer of all things.

I will skip this banner as I already intended to do (same for Xav's birthday), and will think about Sylus' once he comes around again. We definitely know that myths get rerun one year later, and that's how I'm resisting FOMO. This is gorgeous and everything, but it's not a need and if it turns out that I want it that bad, I can still just wait for it to come around again.
