Do I really want to actually make card pages for each of the boys, noting all the cards currently available in neat little empty squares in a carefully chosen font, lovingly filling in the little pictures as I collect them?
Or am I just making work for myself that will be perpetually out of date, never finished and possibly very depressing as trying to get even half the cards would be a laughable endeavour?
PRO: cute little colorful webpage of yet more pictures
PRO: collection is its own reward
PRO: organizing things is my raison d'etre
PRO: digital acquisition is indulgent to the max and I deserve treats
CON: it'll never be finished. why start?
CON: its even more work to keep updating and cross referencing

IMO it all depends on how obsessed you are with the game. Does it spark joy? Let it consume you then.
But if you know it's something that maybe will feel more like a chore once the honeymoon period ends and you have so many different things to juggle, then it might be better to leave it alone so that the time you'll want to dedicate to it will be pragmatically focused on actually playing it.
A compromise would be to use something that is already online so that you're not starting from scratch. For example the fandom wikia has many of the cards already organized with pictures and sometimes even transcripts. You could use that as basis to speed up your work

I say as I stare at my notion where I'm transcribing all raf's cards and argue with another timeline a fan made on how they should be put into order
