Work is kicking my ass but I wouldn't miss this for the world. Did I get him? Yes. Did I also get the other two birthday cards that are rerunning and that I was missing because I joined the game too late? Yes. Do I regret it? Absolutely not. Am I mad because the EN team or infold at large is doing something which is causing the voice lines to speed up to the point where half of this card sounds 2x? Yes.
This birthday card is literally just RafMC overwriting the sadness that was his second anecdote, with a couple of very angsty references turned bittersweet now that he's with MC. The pattern with the other bday cards seems to be: 1. Just him and MC 2. RafMC with his Lemurian people 3. RafMC with his human people. It's sweet, you see his world expanding and more people showing appreciation for him. The minigame is also fun, the plushie is <333 and overall it's just a sweet banner to be in. Very nice <3

i waffled so hard on the previous birthday cards but ended up holding fast. i REALLY wanted the more aquatic themed one because the kindled looked so good with him conjuring fish in his hands, but technically I needed the other one as it was yellow and would have been a good match to LSG. because my heart was torn between beauty vs function I ended up getting neither. c'est la vie.

Honestly that's very valid! I would have 100% skipped the rerun if it wasn't for my insane idea of having all his cards (RIP to me for all the reruns that will happen this year). And the stella colors helped me make a full 5* yellow deck, which is very nice and useful.
P.S. Watch me write like crazy because I want to know what happens next lmao
