oh my lord, i don't think i've ever been as tempted by a Zayne card as this one. and i am including Annihilation in that estimation.

EDIT: i just remembered what was tickling the back of my brain -- like, there's a couple of shots in there that look like they were spiritually channeling "that scene" in Basic Instinct.

yeah, i've watched it a few more times and now that the initial shock has worn off, i gotta say i really like the vibe in this one. coolly confident, smirking Zayne does something for me. and we get picked up with one arm! i am pleased at the infold team for making it very clear over the last number of cards that all of the boys are physical powerhouses, capable of lifting us up without apparent effort. hopefully the actual story in this card will be interesting as well; the setup is intriguing.
i'mma go see what Lexy thinks about it.

Yes oh my god I wasn't expecting this and I laughed and I screamed. This is so very AO3 of them.
I only have one thing to say: very recently the game has become fully nsfw rated in China, and literally yesterday or 2 days ago its rating became 16+ everywhere else on the app stores (still counting little differences between countries) because, and I quote from the store, "Sex"
P.s. I love how MC's outfit is the same she had in Raf's solo card but this time one sleeve is up to her elbow. It's the first time I'm noticing them modifying MC's outfit models!

as best i can tell from what they showed, we're infiltrating somewhere using Zayne's access as cover? so we're in this "Dr. Senti's" office and I'm trying to grab data off his computer tower but Zayne has to quickly sit down to cover us because somebody is about to open the door? I would have originally guessed we're at a medical conference or Zayne's been invited to "tour the facilities" with the hopes of poaching Linkon's best cardiac surgeon away from Akso, but it looks like we're in just a regular house or something once we're outside. unless... huh. maybe there's a time skip in there that isn't super obvious at first flush.
do you recognize Dr Senti's name at all?

To be fair, this might be the app stores finally catching up on all the secret times audios which are insanely suggestive and at times straight up...that. The game being 12+ was ridiculous for how explicit it could get, but it was also running circles around stereotypical rules for adult-oriented games because these characters don't curse (I wish!), there's no skin showing that wouldn't be appropriate on a beach, and there's no explicit sex, only technically implied. So they were like "it's okay for a middle school girl!!!" and then you have macaroni cheese sound effects in sex audios. Which isn't as bad as what you get in any generic movie with a love scene, but this one is much more parasocial and self-insert-y I guess.
Or this could be the prelude of what's to come, since the cards have been getting slightly more explicit.
I'm sat with snacks either way.
Dr. Senti doesn't ring a bell to me. But since Zayne calls her "colleague" (if I remember correctly) I think it confirms he's helping her infiltrate into the office to pass the info from his computer into the USB drive. Also he does something with his evol and gets everyone scrambling to protect their lab equipment so they can escape from the window, so while the layout looks very residential, I do think that's either a private clinic or a small hospital (not Akso, I think, but we'll see once the card is out and I watch it).

yeah, that's about what I got for plot so I'm hoping there's more details in the actual card that we can watch.
i like the implication that Zayne's control over his evol is fine grained enough to sabotage something that he is not physically close to or even in line of sight of. He's a lot less flashy (heh. Xavier. geddit?) than the other guys although now that i sit here with that thought, its not like Rafayel is out there doing fireball mermaid tricks in the town square either.
Xavier is by nature flashy because he's a sunbeam disguised as a fluffy pomeranian, Sylus just takes things apart at the molecular level and Caleb implodes first, asks questions never. in contrast, Zayne and Rafayel don't really do a lot of overt anything with their evol that i can quickly think of.
sorry, sidetrack.
i still get little shivers over the absolute tease that is Entwined for Rafayel. just something about the whole setup and the way he slides his voice around just *does* it for me on multiple levels. its absolutely one of my favorite escapades and when i've had a truly crappy day, i like to pull it up and listen again and imagine i too am a spoiled princess with more privilege than sense.

Okay, I played the little plushie sorting game this morning and had a very good time. I approve this one.
But it kinda got me thinking with the flavour text of being the temporary managers of a "pop up" store (which in context I take to mean a store that opens and closes very quickly on a specific hype theme, kind of like a traveling food cart that doesn't actually travel) - do you think its possible at some point that the plushies we earn in the claw machine game will actually have a fighting arena?
Like, a pokémon game? We could battle the boyfriends with our little plushie team(s)? That would be... that would be AMAZING. Install a virtual arena board in your living room at Home and then spend an hour upgrading the electrical attacks on your Minty bird.

Oh don't get me started with talking about their evol because on one hand they're so cool etc. but on the other they piss me off narratively because we have no way of knowing the limitations? How are they applied? If Sylus can decompose a person on the molecular level, why isn't he doing that instead of going around shooting? Xavier has the justification of his collar, Zayne gets hurt by his own evol, Rafayel's doesn't have that many practical applications with fire that aren't straight up arson but then he also has the powers related to being the sea god which allow him to do way more than manipulating fire (in the original beta scene where he meets MC - which was then scrapped - he made a pair of earring levitate and controlled their direction), but Caleb and Sylus are definitely the ones who could go all out with their evol and for some reason don't.

Entwined is so sweet, and they don't even kiss there! Raf's secret audios are slept on (no pun intended), but I guess that just means there's more for us.
I was surprised with the new mini game because they really went with the full 3D models of the plushies. They're really pushing with what the game is able to do with each new banner and update, I still can't believe we don't have a proper computer port. It wouldn't surprise me if what is now a simple experiment with the mini game will then turn into a new home feature or something. Plushie battle sounds amazing, too!
I watched Zayne's card, and as a non-main I'd say it's a solid one. It has fun parts, very very sweet parts, a bit of action, a lot of sexual tension. Just solid all around. I also think it takes place after Death&Rebirth based on a few lines in there, so if you happen to watch it and go question marks at some parts, that might be the cause!

So, the topic of the LIs' accessories is a bit difficult because at times it seems like they each have specific things symbolic to their character (Xav has often planets/stars, Caleb planes/apples), and sometimes they're random. Unfortunately I'm not knowledgeable in Zaynology enough to tell you if the bee is important to him, I can speculate it might have to do with his sweet tooth?
