I love the decal that comes at 30 pulls, I LOVE the pose that comes at 50 pulls and I CANNOT PULL because I'm 30 from a guaranteed 5* star and the anniversary banner is coming up next. I can't I can't I can't I can't but this is absolutely evil.

I feel your pain so much.
The issue is: yandere Caleb is something they gave us at the start of their canon relationship in the current timeline, but the more we move forward the more we seem to "lose" that side because he's shown in a fully committed and loving relationship with MC. As of now we get them fully enjoying their gege/meimei status + the occasional possessive line, but yandere Caleb knocking us out with flu pills is a thing of the past as far as 5 star banners set in the current timeline are concerned, because MC is not "resisting" him anymore.
I guess the next main story update that will also feature Caleb will give us back the yandere colonel. And I guess they will reinsert that part of his personality in future banners after they're done with this cycle of honeymoon phase (just like they did with Rafayel, who spent a good portion of 2025 showing us his darker side).
You could also get more of the "old" Caleb from his reruns the next year.
P.S. Are you interested in reruns? If yes then 2026 will be painful and you might want to save as much as you can because reruns are insanely expensive and they've now cemented the tradition of overlapping them with new banners. Some say that we won't get the 4th gen of myths next year but I don't believe it, it's one of the things that makes them the most money, so I think we'll get them. Aside from that we'll start to get reruns of iconic past banners, Caleb will rerun his 2nd myth and should have his 3rd as well (might be in early spring). December - January - February are usually full of stuff between the anniversary multi, feb 14th etc.

well, can i put a vote in for the gege/meimei dynamic that more resembles Bonnie & Clyde? we both know she's all in on every level; lets buy her a tasteful custom leather leg holster for the gun and go hunting Lucius.
i am technically pretty interested in the re-runs, specifically for Painful Signal and Tainted Cuts (although I doubt that one will happen again, /le heavy sigh). because they ARE so costly, i am going to have to consider on a case by case basis on the state of my bank account at the time. i have discretionary funds, sure, but i'm also kind of offended about needing to drop three times the cost of Balder's Gate 3 on a single measly collectable in a gatcha game. i've stalled on Where Winds Meet because of this actually - do I need that fancy robe that's in the cash shop? hell, no. do I want it. oh fuck yes, you have NO idea how much i lust for it. how much is it? $45 canadian dollars.
i know myself, i cannot resist the perfect bling and i cannot support two predatory games at once. i even cancelled my FFXIV account because i cannot justify a subscription cost at the same time i'm spending money on Linkon. i really cannot support three.
that being said, i WILL be picking up Experimental Weapon X--02, no question, no matter what. i will sell an unneeded body part for it if i have to.

I do think we'll move toward a partners-in-crime dynamic after Caleb starts opening up more to MC (as of now he still doesn't, but at least he admits it). There's hardly space for something else considering how all the LIs have individual story lines that intersect with MC but don't necessarily overlap with it, and those story lines make them fight the system one way or another. Actually, if the story had just been from MC's point of view it would have been her fighting wanderers and going on dates. It's the LIs who drag her through absurd conspiracies every time lol
They will rerun all the banners! As of now they are coming around 1 year after their original run time, so based on whether they speed up the schedule (thanks to reruns overlapping with new content) we should be getting catch 22 around the end of 2026.
And yes, my hubby came home in only 30 pulls, I don't think I've ever been that lucky in the reruns. My slow path to 100% Raf collection is an uphill journey but I'll see it to the end (hopefully). I only joined during the end of X-02 banner this spring, so I've missed all of the good stuff before March ;_;
Caleb is not beating the puppy allegations, that's for sure.
Did you end up getting the card in the end? I watched it on youtube and was plenty satisfied with it (even though it has a couple of gorgeous frames with MC) so I skipped it in favor of the upcoming multibanner.

yeah, i did end up splurging and getting Indulgent Schemes for Caleb, it was too on the nose with the biting for me to pass on and i felt rich enough in diamonds to just pretend it was for a good cause :P

i keep meaning to make a morning dedicated to catching up on (at least some of) the cards i've glossed over along the way and it keeps not happening for some reason. i blame tik tok (i'm not on tik tok). i haven't even made a new photoshoot in over a month! its sad really.
one day, my retirement will come in and i can have all the time in the world to arrange my little webshrines for the boys. i've been working on my plushie collection, if that helps? i know, i know. we'll get there.
