RE: Gallery - Coldsaturn - 07-07-2025 Oh! Well, if it's obvious then we're all happier for it because it means it's a non-problem that is very easy to fix! When you are in glint, look at the buttons on the bottom of the page and go to Styling. Make sure the button that is selected on the left above this panel is My Closet and not His Closet because we need to change her appearance. Once you're seeing her clothes, you'll notice a semi-transparent "Styling" button. Tap on it and it will send you to the character edit page, where you can change her hair/makeup/accessory etc. Once you apply the one you want you can tap the arrow on the top left to exit the page, and you should have your desired look. It's basically the same process that you would follow to change his hairstyle (for example long-haired Raf), but mirrored for MC. RE: Gallery - ChicletPrime - 07-07-2025 OH MY GOD, was it that easy? and then I use the Snapshot glitch to get that look in the cutscenes and in battles. i cannot wait to get home now. I'm feeling vicarious anticipation. Run wild, my friend. Summary: In Snapshot you have an easy "Style Me" button to run the glitch, but for Glint you have to go inside the clothes panel and tap the Styling button from there. Forgot to mention that the semi-transparent Styling button will be over the clothes, right in the panel. No need to look for it in the rest of the page! RE: Gallery - ChicletPrime - 07-08-2025 i am very glad you said the tiny little words of "...will be over the clothes" because i was looking and looking and looking and could not spot the benighted thing. until i came back here, read it again in case i once again failed to grasp the essentials and was like. oh. look ON the clothing. and voila! there it was! could they have put it in a worse spot, because i don't think so. nevertheless! i grabbed Sylus' last template, inserted myself into it and tried to make like we were badasses. woooo! RE: Gallery - Coldsaturn - 07-08-2025 Someone really needs to talk to them about their UI practices. I get making the menus entire mazes so wherever you go you end up in front of something shiny you're supposed to buy, very casino and shopping center coded, I get it, but this? This is just bad. There's no reason to make Glint so overrun with buttons and options and nested-menus. Hell yeaaaaaah!! Matching hair color! They do look like they could kill you a hundred ways to Sunday, so I'd say the vibe is perfect. The emulator's resolution is killing me though. I wonder if that's the max quality it can produce. RE: Gallery - ChicletPrime - 07-08-2025 Is this any better? This is linked to the full 1080 x 1920 instead of the smaller scaled version i hotfixed in the original post. I should probably go into the forum code and either force it to auto scale any oversize image to fit allowable post width, or add in some custom BB code that would do the same but then you'd have control of individual images (i am normally too lazy to link the images to their bigger versions - I just play with the scaling in the forum to force it to fit without breaking out of bounds. right click - open img new tab - correct the H and W in the address bar to 1080 and 1920 respectively and bob's your uncle). If it's not better, than I guess I throw up my hands. I have tested capturing the image as it is right from the emulator "natively" in its portrait format, and also when I rotate the emulator to force horizontal/full screen capture and then checked them against each other and they seem much the same. maybe this is as good as it gets out of an emulator and we'll all have to hold a candle up in grief and silence. RE: Gallery - Coldsaturn - 07-08-2025 No the problem is the jagged edges like it's missing Anti-aliasing. I have the same problem with my mumu emulator. I have to try forcing AA through NVIDIA and see if things change, because that's definitely not what you get from playing on your phone or ipad. RE: Gallery - ChicletPrime - 07-09-2025 /writes that down for a weekend project to look into. RE: Gallery - ChicletPrime - 07-13-2025 the NVidia Control Panel doesn't seem to help with antialiasing in the emulator and it got to the point where it was going black-screen on dynamic poses, so i will have to see if there's anything else i can do. i doubt that Reshade will work, but its another option to try later. in the meantime, i sat down and tried to figure out Caleb's girlfriend and I think I've got what works for me on the amount of youth + (spoiled) brat that she can be for him. and some extra bonus Caleb for fun. RE: Gallery - Coldsaturn - 07-14-2025 I tried in game from my Ipad, and the pictures look clear and smooth right until you start zooming a lot, and then things get fucked up. So I think the problem is that we're making the images bigger than their original size without a proper upscaling method that would save the details. I also checked the pictures I got from glint photobooth on the emulator, direct screenshots, and then my in-game album from the ipad saved directly into my icloud. 900x1600 is the size I had for the pictures I take from glint on the emulator. Changing mumu's settings and forcing it to use DirectX rather than Vulkan, plus changing the resolution to 1080x1920 already helped. The pictures I take from glint on my ipad, then download locally to my ipad, then transfer through icloud to my pc have a completely different resolution: 1640x2360. I zoom on the flowers and again we'll have problems, but with that size to begin with you don't usually need to zoom in all that much at all. Also, hello Caleb's MC!! I love the hair braid accessory from the shop <3 And she absolutely looks like someone who knows she has her gege wrapped around her little finger. Love that for her. |
