Also the amount of instant merman fanfics that spawned after the trailer was truly something lol

Also I'm completely not normal about tomorrow when the event will start. Expect at least one thread where I will shout and scream and kick my legs. I will remember to warn for spoilers.

we're (i'm) going to take a story detour tonight and find someone who has a God of Tides playthrough and watch that, because i feel that is going to be SUPER FUCKING RELEVANT to whatever we get on Tuesday and i want to be at least slightly prepared with a piece of backstory.

You have the entire God Of Tides myth in the playlist I linked for Raf's timeline!
In fact, the things that we know for sure are being referenced in the new myth (judging by the trailer) are: Forgotten Sea (God of Tides Myth) and Witch of the Abyss timeline (Fragrant Dream card), which are the first two videos in the playlist.
