Highlights of the Kindled scene:
-- Rayafel out of his wracking mind with whatever we're wearing for a scent, its near animalistic (this game is definitely PG+ rating, the implications of pretty much everything is top notch).

Hang on. With the other thread... did we get Rafayel captured by the Evil Ever Guys? When they took us, they got him too? Crap, maybe I'M a double agent! I am seeing conspiracies everywhere at this point. No. I'm the main character. This is an otome game, there is no way they're pulling any sort of shenanigan that puts us in anything other than the best light possible.

I love how when the staff has to decide who to put through classic fandom tropes like sex pollen etc. it's always Raf. He just exudes that slutty energy that works so well with it.
And welcome to the "you're gonna lock me up again, you're with them" that's been keeping me up at night ever since I heard it. You need his first bond scene Nightly Stroll to kinda complete the context of this (you should already have it, you unlock it once he's at level 20 affinity). Or at least, I think that's what gives us the time and place reference. The "them" should be Ever, yes. But the "I won't fall for it again" half sounds like he's talking about himself, like maybe they used that smell again to drug him and get him, OR that MC herself was used as bait and so he's telling himself he won't fall for it again. We don't know because we don't remember. How convenient.
But! Either way, aside from our personal involvement, the other question is: why would Ever capture a lemurian?

are you telling me... are you TELLING ME they do more than implicate? i mean, i saw a skin you could buy for an astonishing large around of rare currency that has them all in a bath towel, but i figured that was for, you know, aesthetics.
okay, i'm all quiver now. the fact that the garden game's latest story unlock put me firmly in Zayne's bed in the morning was something that made me grin; lookit, ma! my boy canonically knows how to not hog the bed covers! AND he opted to move us both back there after sleet cancelled our morning plans.

i woke up a bunch of times in the night (i do that, i'm not a solid sleeper) and every time i woke up my brain was running around philos, trying to put shit together. during one of my nightly check-in-with-reality points, i thought to myself i really need to make a mind map of this. then promptly conked out again but just so you know, my subconscious is having a grand old time.

PPS: I just went through the story where Rafayel had himself admitted to a hospital for spraining his ankle on a misplaced paintbrush, and he was really angry and sarcastic when we finally deigned to show up that night to see how he was doing.
i was applauding the VA's acting, he was perfect throughout that entire card, SO well done! and then the story at the end about how a girl saved him and he fell in love and it was a tragedy because she never once came back. and then he made us swear we wouldn't do that to him, that we'd always come find him and we even had a commemorative fish handshake to seal the deal.
this guy, i swear.

re: Nightly stroll
So, you have Raf and MC who have definitely met when they were kids and Raf had been stranded on the beach. We might assume this is before the chronorift catastrophe. MC, for some reason that we don't know for now, doesn't come back for him, while Raf waited for her year after year. A little siren getting close to a beach (we still don't know its location, but it will be deduced later on) could have gotten caught by Ever, which then brought that comment in the fragrance card you watched.
